What’s at Rotary Park Beavercreek, OH?
How many parks does Beavercreek have? 10?, no there are more. 20?, no, there are more yet. 24! Can you believe it? As a local Beavercreek Realtor that has lived in Beavercreek pretty much my entire life, I didn’t realize we had 24 parks until I started researching for this blog post. Some of our parks are little more than green spaces but some, like Rotary Park, offer all kinds of activities. Let’s take a look.
Where is Rotary Park?
2260 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45434 which is little past the high school if you are heading east on Dayton-Xenia Rd.
How Big is it?
At 72 acres it is second in size only to the new Spring House Park.
What is special about it?
- 8 softball diamonds
- 4 T-ball diamonds
- 2 baseball diamonds
- Picnic Shelters
- Soccer fields
- Restrooms
Playground (aka Owen’s place) with a unique artificial turf sliding hill the kids love. Just bring some cardboard from an old box and it’s the perfect vehicle for summer sledding!
- Home to Greene County Cosmos soccer program
- Home to Beavercreek Sox baseball program
- Home to Beavercreek Youth Softball program
It’s also been the perfect venue for Beavercreek’s annual 4th of July fireworks display.
A strong park system can be attractive to certain home buyers as they try to narrow their focus and select a place to live. If you find yourself in a similar situation and could use more information and assistance in your home search, just reach out to your local Beavercreek Realtor and I’ll be glad to help!
