Lofino Park in Beavercreek

Lofino Park in Beavercreek

Dominick Lofino Park in Beavercreek, have you been to it? In my opinion it’s one of the better parks Beavercreek has. Mainly because it has a 7 acre fishing pond. Water always seems to add fun and interest. If you’ve been a life-long Beavercreek resident like myself, you might remember the Lofinos super market that was at the corner of Dayton-Xenia and Longview.  Then they opened the ‘New” Lofinos supermarket on Seajay back in the late 70’s. Well, those markets have long since closed but it’s from the generosity of the Lofino family that we all get to enjoy Dominic Lofino Park.

What does the park have?

It’s a 36 acre park with a paved walking trail that goes around the pond and there are unpaved walking paths throughout the surrounding woods. It features a playground, fishing pond, skate park, pickleball, tennis courts, walking paths, and large picnic shelter. Take the kids fishing at Dominick Lofino Park in Septempber to enter the annual fishing derby! The pond is stocked and you just need to bring your rod and bait! Last but not least, the park hosts the city's annual summer concert series at the amphitheater by the pond.

Location:

Dominick Lofino Park is located at 640 Grange Hall Road, one mile north of Indian Ripple Road and just south of Shakertown Rd, not far from Ankeny Middle School. As a local Beavercreek Realtor and life-long resident of the city, I love to share my experience with Beavercreek’s wonderful park system with incoming buyers to the area
