Huber Heights - City of Growth
In the mid 1800's, the now-defunct Wayne Township was founded between the Montgomery and Miami counties and existed as such for over 100 years. That was until 1981 - where the Township was incorporated as the City of Huber Heights, cementing it as the third largest suburb in Dayton by population. The city has seen a growth of 14% in the last decade, the largest in Montgomery County.
The City
Huber Heights carries the name of Charles Huber, the developer who helped build many structures and homes within the city. Continuing down the path of commerce, the city has seen a commercial boom thanks to its positioning near the 'Cross Roads of America', the intersection of I-70 and I-75. Whether you're looking for top locations to work, dine or entertain in the greater Dayton Area you've got to check out Huber Heights.  Catch a concert at the Rose Music Center or spend a day of fun at The Kroger Aquatic Center.  There's aways the Farmers Market at the Heights and two Metroparks to visit as well.
The Housing
As of the 2020 census, the population has grown to just under 43,500 citizens - showing that this city's idea of growth truly is going strong. Homes within Huber Heights average around $190,000 so an affordable rate for many trying to plant roots in the Greater Dayton area.  Particularly on the north side of town you'll find explosive growth and plenty of new construction as builders rush to fill the demand.  For those with families, the city has its own school district and public library as part of the Dayton Metro Library network - making it a great location to cultivate young minds.
